Michael Beschloss is called “the nation’s leading presidential historian” by Newsweek, Beschloss uses colorful anecdotes and brilliant inside analysis in comparing the leadership styles of American presidents. Trained in leadership at the Harvard Business School, and using the vantage-point of history, Beschloss shows audiences how the qualities and characteristics of political leadership can translate to more effective leadership in business as well. Beschloss is NBC News’ resident Presidential Historian and appears regularly on Meet the Press, Today and other NBC News programs. He is also a regular commentator on PBS NewsHour.

A brilliant, prolific writer, Beschloss is the author of many national best sellers, including: Presidential Courage: Brave Leaders and How They Changed America, 1789-1989; Taking Charge: The Johnson White House Tapes, 1963-1964; The Crisis Years: Kennedy and Khrushchev, 1960-1963; Kennedy and Roosevelt: The Uneasy Alliance; and most recently, he co-authored, with Caroline Kennedy, the New York Times best-seller, Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy (2011).
